Find the perfect fit

The size of your fingers can vary depending on the time of day. We recommend not to measure your fingers when your hands are cold. If possible, take measurements at the end of the day.

Measurements can vary slightly between the two hands. A ring worn on the right hand will not necessarily be the exact same size as one worn on the same finger of the left hand.

A ring should fit comfortably in your finger as well as it should be tight enough which will prevent it from accidentally falling off. Ensure that the size chosen offers sufficient room for the ring to slide easily along the entire finger.

For best result, Bijou Shallot offers two ways to determine your finger size in order to choose the right size for your ring.

Use a ring to determine your ring size

Select a ring that properly fits the intended finger. When the circle and the internal ring diameter match, you have found your correct ring size.

  1. Print the ring size guide below.
  2. Before printing, ensure that “Page Scaling” is set to 100%. Do not check the box for “Adjust to scale” option in the printer settings. To make sure that the printed version of the scale is consistent with the one on the screen, simply verify the measurement with a ruler.
  3. Take the selected ring and place it over the circles of the ring size guide.
  4. As you place the ring over the various circles on the guide, find the circle that lines up with the inner dimension of the ring. If the ring falls in between two sizes, we recommend that you select the larger size.

Measure your finger

  1. Take a length of string or cut a paper band into a thickness of 1cm.
  2. Wrap the string or paper around the thickest part of your finger.
  3. Mark where the string or paper overlaps using a pen.
  4. Unroll the string or paper band and place it on a flat surface.
  5. Using a ruler, measure the distance that separates the end of the string or paper and the dot that you marked.
  6. Refer to the correspondence table to determine with what size the measurement corresponds. If you are hesitating between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the largest.
